Anniversary Album
Scrapbooking is not something I enjoy. As much as I love layout and design, the idea of creating a cute theme for every page is exhausting to me. Props to those of you who make lovely scrapbooks as a hobby. A friend of mine writes an inspiring blog, you need to visit if you haven’t done so, called Honeysuckle High (by the way, she’s doing an awesome giveaway this week!). Back in March she wrote about what she does to preserve "tangible memories" in her marriage. Her wonderful, simple approach to putting together an album gave me hope. Thanks Shelby!
This last Tuesday Kevin and I celebrated 3 years of marriage and I wanted to make something to keep our yearly highlights and lessons together in a similar fashion. I say “lessons” because every year as we reflect back on what we learned in marriage, we sum it up in a phrase that we can hopefully remember.
As you can see, not a serious scrapbooker.
Nevertheless, mission accomplished. As Shelby calls it “tangible memories.” This year our lesson was “Faith Stretching Change.” We never want to forget what God did in our lives over the past year!

P.S. I’m still working on the writing/layouts for years 1 & 2. Updates on those later!
